Head of Business Development - France - Paris

Reporting to the Head of Sales for EMEA, the Head of Business Development France is the driving force for the French market. Responsible for the revenue and overall business growth in the market, the Head of Business Development is a entrepreneur in residence type of personality not only leading the team and market expansion but also being the voice of market feedback towards the company senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and drive a market leading sales and account management team
  • Take full ownership of the market by constantly finding ways how to grow the market share of the company
  • Build and close a pipeline of target key brands to use Nosto’s personalisation solutions
  • Quickly grasp brands’ issues and objectives and tailor sales strategy to them accordingly
  • Decide and work close with marketing team on local marketing activities and events
  • Establish and maintain the strong Nosto culture within the local team with a local flavour
  • Clearly communicate client and partner feedback and requirements to the senior management team
  • Maintain an active awareness of market trends and communicate these internally
  • Drive and achieve key market metrics within each team member

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 4-6 years of SaaS sales experience (selling within the retail industry is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the local Ecommerce market in terms of platforms, technologies, agencies etc.
  • Good general knowledge & understanding of online business
  • Entrepreneur mindset with the ability to both think strategically and execute simultaneously
  • Proven ability to pursue and close key partnerships with all ecommerce stakeholders
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenacious
  • A winner mentality with positive approach to challenges in market building
  • Proven ability to pursue and close new clients within the retail sector
  • A positive personality able to build and manage a team in an encouraging way
  • Native French speaker
  • Fluent in English
